Dr Musarat Ishaq was awarded his PhD in 2008 from Wuhan University, China. He did postdoctoral training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Madison, USA) from 2008-2010 and at Stockholm University (Stockholm, Sweden) from 2011-2012. He then worked as a Biomedical Scientist at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO, Sydney, Australia) from 2012-2015, at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Melbourne, Australia) from 2015-2016, and at St Vincent Institute of Medical Research (SVI)/University of Melbourne (Melbourne, Australia) from 2017-2023. His research focus was on Human Viruses (studying the role of host cellular factors involved in the transcription and replication of SARS-corona, HIV, HCV, and Influenza), Systems Biology, and Mathematical Modeling to study virus-host interaction (oncolytic viruses, e.g., VSV), Developmental Biology (developing transgenic animals to study genes involved in metabolic disorders, e.g., obesity), Radiotherapy to treat resistant tumors e.g., melanoma and colorectal cancer, Tumor Angiogenesis (studying role of lymphatic and blood vessels for tumor growth and metastasis) & Metabolic and Fat-disorders (role of adipose tissue in metabolic disorders e.g., obesity, diabetes & lipedema). He has published over 30 peer-reviewed research articles and presented his work at several international conferences. Dr Ishaq recently joined Health Services Academy (HSA), Islamabad, as a Professor to start new life sciences research programs.

Dr. Hassan is a Hydro-climatologist with over 08 years of cutting-edge research and teaching experience in prestigious institutes including Tsinghua University China (ranked 20th in the world according to QS-2024) and the Institute of Space Technology (IST), Pakistan. His primary research focuses on weather and climate extremes, hydroclimate modeling, glaciers' dynamics and their hydrologic response, climate change impact assessment on water resources, advanced machine learning techniques for climate downscaling, aerosol-climate interaction, and environmental and health impact of air pollution. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor and Head at the Department of Space Science, Institute of Space Technology Islamabad Pakistan. During his career, Dr. Hassan developed and taught various courses at the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels. He is also working as a Regular Associate at the Earth System Physics section of the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy. He is an invited reviewer for more than 10 world-leading high-impact journals such as Climate Dynamics, Atmospheric Research, Water Resources Management, and Journal of Hydrology.

Dr Abid Bangesh obtained his PhD from Edith Cowan University (ECU), WA, Australia, in 2023. His thesis examines "The Concept and Role of Meaningful Work in the Context of the Public Healthcare Sector of Pakistan." He is working now as a Research Associate at Mental Awareness, Respect and Safety (MARS) - an ECU Industry Collaboration Centre for the Mining Sector. Abid has more than 14 years of experience in human resources, mental health awareness, medical relief, and community work. He has held diverse positions, including HR advisor, educationist, writer, and entrepreneur. In these roles, he led numerous successful professional and community initiatives and volunteer projects. Abid's teaching repertoire covers Healthy Work and Wellbeing, Managing Change, Human Resource Management Fundamentals, and Organisational Behaviour. Beyond teaching, Abid has worked as an investigator on multiple research projects, including sustainability in project portfolio management within the extractive sector, psychosocial safety climate, leadership, and work engagement. He is dedicated to advancing the ECU-Industry collaboration and extending research on mental health and safety within the mining sector.

Dr Ali Eqani is serving as Tenured Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad in the area of Environmental Geochemistry/Geo-medical Sciences. Dr Eqani was awarded a doctoral degree from Quaid I Azam University in 2012 and his first postdoctoral fellowship was from IUE, CAS, China (2015-17) and his recent postdoctoral visit to D-lab, MIT, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA (2022-23). Furthermore, Council of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences has also awarded him PAS Gold Medal 2023, in Earth and Environmental Sciences. He has more than 100 manuscripts (>4500 citation, h-index 34, >500 impact factor) that are published in high-ranked journals (including science magazine). The topics of his research are timely and of importance to Pakistan, supported through excellent national/international funding sources. He also serves as a consultant to various international organizations such as the WHO, FAO, and UNDP. I bring comprehensive skills in R&D, project development, and project management, along with hands-on experience in device design, fabrication, and characterization. My technical proficiency encompasses working with optical fibers and components for Digital Optical Instrument Transformers (DOIT) and Digital Optical Current Transducers (DOCT), as well as a robust background in the semiconductor and optoelectronics device industry. As a Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan, I have been leading the Clean Energy Research Group and conducting cutting-edge research and teaching in the field of energy conversion and storage devices. I have a PhD in Energy Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, and more than 16 years of experience in energy materials research and teaching. I have published more than 200 international journal papers, delivered 60 invited talks, and presented 30 conference papers on topics such as fuel cells, solar cells, batteries, and supercapacitors. I have also worked as a researcher at Chalmers University of Technology and Linköping University in Sweden, where I contributed to several multidisciplinary projects and was a key member of the team that invented a new energy conversion device that was reported in Nature Nanotechnology. I have received multiple awards and honors from prestigious institutions and organizations, such as the Pakistan Gold Medal from Pakistan Academy of Sciences, the Early Career Research Award from Commonwealth, UK, and the Idea to Product Award from Stockholm, Sweden. I am passionate about developing innovative and sustainable solutions for the global energy challenges and educating the next generation of energy professionals.
